We're thrilled to introduce our Farm to Fork 2018 "Maximum Love" Presenting Partner, Lily's Sweets!

 
 

When MaxLove Project found Lily’s Sweets, we knew we belonged together. Lily’s Sweets cofounders Cynthia Tice and Chuck Genuardi are chocoholics, yet longtime advocates of sugar-free fierce foods. Together they developed a premium, mouthwatering, stevia-sweetened alternative to the conventional chocolate treats they so loved. Lily’s bars are enthusiastically approved by MaxLove Project’s Chief Inspiration Officer, SuperMax Wilford, although word has it he doesn’t like the ones with almonds quite as much because the nuts take up valuable chocolate space.

Cynthia and Chuck named Lily’s Sweets after Chuck’s niece, Lily, an inspired – and inspiring — young lady and childhood brain cancer survivor. Since being diagnosed at age 7, SuperKid Lily has been raising money for other kids battling cancer, and Cynthia and Chuck proudly honor Lily’s bravery and commitment to aiding others by contributing to MaxLove Project and other nonprofits that provide services to children with cancer and their families.

As for Lily, she is now a teenager, has celebrated her 5-year anniversary of diagnosis and remains cancer-free and dedicated to helping others in need. Lily’s Sweets is committed to operating ethically and sustainably, so its bars and baking chips are made only with certified Fair Trade chocolate and the highest quality non-GMO ingredients. They are also certified gluten free.

Lily’s “goes gold” not only during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, but every day of the year. The gold ribbon on the Lily’s package is a symbol of support in the fight against childhood cancer.
