Glenn Tanaka

Farmer Glenn Tanaka, his wife, Shirley, and his son, Farmer Kenny, own and operate Tanaka Farms, which is an authentic working farm. Their 30-acre farm produces fruits & vegetables that supplies their produce stand, provides for their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program and our various educational tours.

Tanaka Farms educates 35,000 kids and families each year about farm-fresh whole foods. For some children, a visit to Tanaka Farms is the first experience with fruit and vegetables growing from the earth! Farmer Tanaka also hosts MaxLove Project families regularly for farm experiences. We're honored to award Farmer Tanaka our "Gold Heart Award for Leadership in Family Thrivership" for 2017!
